Celebrate St. David's Day 2025: New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia

Here’s a special opportunity for a quartet from Urdd members to perform at St. David’s Day Events in America 2025!

This is a unique opportunity for four talented singers aged between 21 and 25 to perform in New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia as part of the North American Welsh Society's St. David’s Day celebrations.

This is the third consecutive year that young people from the Urdd have enjoyed this unique opportunity.

Applications must be submitted as a group of four, and your group must be able to perform with a variety of voices - Alto, Soprano, Tenor, and Bass.

You will be traveling on behalf of the Urdd, with travel, accommodation, and food expenses covered by the North American Welsh Societies and the Urdd. A member of Urdd staff will accompany you, and you also have the option to bring an accompanist.

Enjoy singing? In a group of friends or part of households? Take advantage of this unique opportunity to perform at a variety of St. David's Day events in America, as well as an incredible chance to visit some of the USA's most famous cities!

Successful applicants must be between 21-25 years old on February 21 and hold a valid passport (6 months from the date of travel). If you have less than 6 months left on your passport, please apply for a new one online as soon as possible.

We expect a very high number of applications. To assist us with processing, please make sure you have filled out the application form completely and sent your videos via WeTransfer or shared a Dropbox / WeTransfer link for us to download. Include this information in the application form. Please send individual videos of each member, as well as a video of the quartet performing together.
