Following the success of last year's tour to the North American Festival of Wales, the Urdd returned to the festival, bringing four new performers from Wales to Lincoln, Nebraska.

Ffion Thomas, Nansi Rhys Adams, Sophie Jones, and Eiriana Jones-Campbell were selected based on their performances at this year’s Urdd Eisteddfod in Carmarthenshire.

During their time at the festival, they performed in the Thursday night concert alongside the 2023 Cân i Gymru winner, Dylan Morris. They also had a special opportunity to learn more about the Welsh heritage of the area by visiting the 'Great Plains,' meeting Welsh Americans, and enjoying many of the festival’s events.

After the festival, they moved on to Chicago to learn more about the city's history and had free time to explore and enjoy it.
