n 2022, the festival was held in Philadelphia from August 31 to September 4. Representing the Urdd at the festival, Siân Lewis, the Chief Executive of the Urdd, traveled along with four young people. Siriol Elin, Manon Ogwen, Tomos Bohanna, and Dafydd Jones were selected to represent the Urdd in Philadelphia by a panel of judges from the Eisteddfod T 2021 and the Urdd Eisteddfod in Denbighshire 2022. The singers had the opportunity to perform in a concert at the Perelman Theatre, at Macy's, outside the City Hall as part of the opening ceremony, and in a flashmob in the heart of the city to entertain and introduce Welsh culture to the people of Philadelphia.
