The Local Area

Gwersyll yr Urdd Glan-llyn is a multi-activity residential centre. The gwersyll is situated on the banks of Llyn Tegid near Bala, about a mile from the village of Llanuwchllyn in the shadow of the Aran, and within Snowdonia National Park.

Meeting Rooms

The Centre has a number of meeting rooms that vary in sizes and purpose of use. Our ten meeting rooms can accommodate between 10 and 250 people, which means we can cater for small meetings or large conferences. Our facilities include projectors, televisions with computer connections, video and phone conferencing.

Hospitality

Hospitality can be provided for events and groups of all sizes, from 5 to 250. Tea and coffee making facilities are available all day and all dietary needs can be catered for.

Accommodation

The centre has 55 “en-suite” bedrooms which can sleep up to two, four, six or eight.

We can accommodate up to 250 residents at a time, with around 40 of these beds allocated to group leaders.

There are 5 accommodation blocks that can be divided into 7 separate areas.

Activities

The centre has a wide range of activities on offer, all run by our professional staff. If you need an element of team building in your course, we can include this theme into most of our activities. For a list of all activities on offer at Glan-llyn.
