Gwennan Harries

Gwennan Harries is a former Welsh International football striker. She had two spells with FA WSL club Bristol Academy, split by three seasons away playing for Everton. She was born in Bridgend and won 56 caps for the Wales women's national football team, scoring 18 goals. Unfortunately, Gwennan was forced to retire from football because of a long-standing knee injury. Gwennan a qualified P.E teacher is now working at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf in Cardiff. In addition to this Gwennan spends a lot of her time outside of School as a part time Sports pundit / co commentator on S4C and BBC.
