As an organisation, are you looking to upskill your workforce or looking to employ individuals as apprentices?

The Urdd offers free training through the medium of Welsh (or bilingually) to organisations across Wales through our Apprenticeship Scheme. The scheme is funded by the Welsh Government, meaning there is no cost to you or the apprentice.

Your staff can undertake an apprenticeship whilst continuing with their present responsibilities, and as an employer you will directly benefit from their additional skills and qualifications. We can also help you to appoint a full-time apprentice in your organisation.

The apprenticeships last between 15-21 months, depending on the chosen course, and at the end of this period the apprentice will have Level 2 or 3 qualifications that are recognised in workplaces across the UK.

If you work in one of the following fields, this scheme is for you:

  • Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and SEN Schools
  • Leisure Centres
  • National Governing Bodies
  • Sports Clubs
  • Outdoor Centres
  • Nurseries
  • Youth Clubs
