Regional Competitions

These are the competitions that will take place in each region this year (2026-2027): 

Football

• 7 a side – Open – Squad of 12
• 7 a side – Girls – Squad of 12
• 5 a side – Mixed Yr.3-4 – Squad of 10 (1 girl and 1 boy on the pitch)

Rugby

• 7 a side (Contact) – Open – Squad of 12
• 7 a side (Tag) – Girls – Squad of 12
• 7 a side (Tag) – Mixed Yr.3-4 – Squad of 12 (2 girls and 2 boys on the pitch)

Netball

• Girls – Squad of 12
• Mixed – Squad of 12  (2 girls and 2 boys on the court)

Cricket

• Mixed Yr.3-4 – Squad of 12 (2 girls and 2 boys on the pitch)
  Regional winners progress to the national competition. 

Athletics

• Junior – Teams of 16 (Information Sheet) 

Everyone needs to be a Member of the Urdd to take part
