About

Our Cardiff Residential Centre gives children and young people a taste of the Capital’s City life.

Our 4-star hostel is located in Cardiff Bay; under the iconic roof of Wales Millennium Centre and opposite the Senedd Building; there is nowhere better to get a cultural experience!

We offer a range of activities and courses for groups of all sizes.

Facilities

The Urdd Centre is situated in the hustle and bustle of Cardiff Bay, adjacent to the Senedd, and is an ideal location to visit some of Cardiff’s most popular attractions.

A variety of bedrooms are available. We have three twin rooms, one triple room, three rooms for a group of four and twenty two rooms for groups of six. All rooms include en-suite facilities.

Individuals and families can occasionally stay at the Urdd City Sleepover in a Bed and Breakfast capacity.

There is plenty of room to relax in the lounge and it has a pool table and food and drink machines.

The Urdd hall is ideal for dancing, choirs, orchestras and to hold a disco in the evenings. It can also be transformed to a theatre to sit 150 people with a digital projector for conferences, or to watch a film.

The dining hall can serve breakfast, lunch, tea and supper. The gwersyll can cater for dietary needs, allergies, cultural background and religious beliefs.

The Urdd City Sleepover is based within one of Europe’s most iconic arts buildings, the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay. In addition to providing accommodation for 153 we have conference and meeting facilities for hire.
