No. While the Urdd is a Welsh-language organisation and Welsh is at the heart of the experience, everyone is welcome at the Urdd’s camps, whether they speak Welsh fluently, are learning the language, or have no Welsh at all.

Many visitors come from Welsh-medium and English-medium schools, as well as from families and groups with a wide range of language backgrounds. We provide a friendly and supportive environment where visitors can enjoy activities, make new friends and experience Welsh culture, with plenty of opportunities to hear and use Welsh if they wish.
