What we do

The Urdd’s Apprenticeship department works with several partners to develop Welsh medium and bilingual apprenticeships and training that offers opportunities to learn, develop and increase confidence in the workplace.

Our training expertise is in the following sectors: sport, leisure and the outdoors, youth work and childcare.

Employ an apprentice

An apprenticeship is a way to recruit and nurture new talent or an affordable way to develop your existing workforce.

Information for employers

Become an apprentice

To complete an apprenticeship, you need to be working for an employer or about to start working.

Sometimes there is an opportunity to be employed by the Urdd, but usually you work for one of our partners across Wales.
