An apprenticeship is a way to recruit and nurture new talent or an affordable way to develop your existing workforce. The Urdd is funded to provide apprenticeships by the Welsh Government through MEDR, and there is no cost to your organisation beyond normal employment costs.
We can support you with recruitment, programme selection, ensuring compliance, and promoting bilingualism. Our specialist team is available to guide you from the start of the journey right through to celebrating the successes once your apprentice has completed the programme.
An apprenticeship lasts between 12 and 36 months, depending on the chosen programme. At the end of this period, the apprentice will have Level 2, 3, 4 or 5 qualifications that are recognised within the workplace across the UK and beyond.
