The essential skills qualifications are a way of boosting the communication, numeracy and digital literacy skills of the Workforce to ensure they are competent and confident in tackling the tasks involved. The qualifications throughout the apprentice’s Urdd apprenticeship programme are funded by Medr, and there is no cost to your organisation beyond normal employment costs.
Others in your workforce can also complete essential skills qualifications, should you want to boost their skills and confidence. There would be a cost for these individuals as they are not completing an apprenticeship with the Urdd.
